Lynne Gould and Jonathan Soto completed their first century’s on Saturday. It was not an organized ride but just Mick and I helping them get the miles in. Lynne is training for the Cheaha Challenge and Jonathan getting good base in to help with the race season. The ride left out from Columbiana and headed up Joinertown Road. About half way we met up with Mike Herring who rode with us till we got out to CR11. From there we headed out CR43 to Vandiver, up and over…WATCH out for the motorcycles, one of which could not handle one of the turns and put it into the guard rail. As we made it out Hwy 78 to the Brompton exit a quick stop for Mick to go grocery shopping and we were off again. We eased by Billy & Steph house but no feed zone no nothing…WTF?? HAHA they were out doing the Barbers ride, we’ll let them slide. We meandered through the Wolf Creek area till we made our way back to CR43. As we stopped for the last time at the 70 mile mark we picked up David Gottlieb, he rode with us back to Chelsea helping us keep a nice pace. We then picked up CR47 for the final leg back into Columbiana, as we pulled ito the shopping center mission accomplished, Lynne & Jonathan had made it 101 miles! GREAT JOB!!!!
